Now Accepting Submissions for our Special Issue:
AI & the Legal Profession
The UBC Law Review is pleased to announce that in addition to the three Issues we normally publish annually, we are also publishing a Special Issue on AI & the Legal Profession, slated for publication in the first quarter of 2024.

The purpose of this Special Issue is to highlight several legal themes in the wake of recent technological advancements in artificial intelligence. While there are no rigid criteria for consideration, we are especially interested in publishing articles that provide insightful commentary on the impact of artificial intelligence on the practice of law, access to justice, principles of justice, legal adjudication, statutory law, regulations, and/or interpretation.

Article selections are based on the input of the Special Issue's Guest Editor—Professor Jon Festinger, KC—and our regular submissions policies and procedures. To apply, please submit a manuscript to our Submissions Manager, Lauren Clayton, at submissions@ubclawreview.ca by 1 December 2023 at 12:00am PST.
